- Since 1996, Career T.E.A.M. has successfully trained and employed over 5,000 former welfare recipients
- The National Welfare To Work Partnership cited Career T.E.A.M. in their national best practices guide under Most Outstanding Contractors. As a result, Career T.E.A.M. was invited to the White House with a distinguished group of service providers and Fortune 500 CEO’s to meet with the President/Vice President to discuss best practice Welfare-to-Work solutions
- U.S. Chamber of Commerce awarded Career T.E.A.M. the highly prestigious Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award for outstanding work in the Welfare-toWork challenge

TANF Project Descriptions:
- State of Connecticut, Department of Social Services: Contracted Career T.E.A.M. to design and implement a performance based, statewide strategy for employing 3,000 TANF recipients who had completed state appointment WTW training yet remained unemployed. Career T.E.A.M. was subsequently cited by the Governor and DSS Commissioner for outstanding performance.
- Washington, DC Department of Human Services: Contracted Career T.E.A.M. to design and deliver an employer engagement staff training program attended by all Welfare-to-Work contractors. Career T.E.A.M. was subsequently contracted to begin proving direct client services.
- State of Louisiana, Department of Labor: After a highly competitive RFP, LDOL contracted Career T.E.A.M. to deliver a statewide TANF program for 16,000 WTW customers. This project involved the design and delivering of a life skills/job readiness curriculum to 108 LDOL trainers who then delivered the Career T.E.A.M. course to the 16,000 recipients. Upon completion, Career T.E.A.M. granted LDOL an exclusive, non-transferable license to re-use and reprint the Career T.E.A.M. deigned student guides and curriculum for future LDOL use.
