1. Procurement of state and federal Government funds to administer workforce related projects.
2. Consulting to government funded, workforce development contractors.
3. The creation, production and distribution of life enhancing radio and television programming and self- improvement products and services.
Structure
Founded in 1996, the company is currently comprised of (3) divisions:
1). Government Project Management Division: (Established 1996):
- In 1996, Career T.E.A.M. responded to the Welfare Reform Act (1996- 2001) developed by Congress, which established a 5-year term limit for public assistance recipients. During this time, the company found employment for over 5,000 former welfare recipients and assisted more than 1,000 U.S. companies develop Welfare to Work programs and gain access to (Work Opportunity Tax Credits, On The Job Training Funds and Customized Training Awards).
- In 1998, Career T.E.A.M. responded to the 1998 Workforce Investment Act (WIA), and began managing One Stop, Core & Intensive, Business Services Units (Placement & Employment Upgrade Units), Case Management functions.
- In 2002, Career T.E.A.M. began aggressively pursuing organizational management of youth related programs including Job Corps.
2). Workforce Consulting Division (Established 2000):
Consulting to other government funded agencies/employers has become the fastest growing segment of the company. For individuals and business, we identify and propose cost effective solutions including:
- From 2000 - Present, Career T.E.A.M. designed and marketed several corporate training offerings to companies including (AT&T, Xerox, Union Carbide, Omni Hotels).
- Creating effective Life Planning & Coaching (Personal & Professional Growth Tools) for individual consumers.
- In 2004, began pursuing a nationwide expansion including a contract award by Louisiana Department of Labor to serve 16,000 welfare recipients.
3). Media & Production Division (Established 2004):
- Dedicated to providing enhanced lifestyle strategies (introducing beneficial guidance and advice) through television and/or radio, which will provide a forum to market and distribute our products (assessments, books, audio/video tapes) and consultative services (success coaching, state and federal project management).
- Career TV, an employment television program to include practical advice combined with actual job leads and interviews of prominent industry professionals. Revenues are derived from advertising sales to employers, state and federal agencies and product sales (i.e. Career Coach, personal coaching).
- Career Radio, is an exciting, innovative talk radio program that offers a revolutionary approach to job seeking and career management. Hosted by renowned life strategist Chris Kuselias, the show fills an important void and takes the often daunting, anxiety-ridden career management process and makes it fun and invigorating.
