Meet the people that make up the leadership of Career T.E.A.M. 

Each member of the team brings a very different perspective and “real world experience” to the company. This is what makes Career T.E.A.M. so unique and compelling in workforce development. There are a number of great ideas and good programs out there to help people enter or re-enter the job market.  Career T.E.A.M. takes these ideas and programs and adds the perspective and experience to make them “come alive.”  Job retention substantially increases and clients go from getting just enough to get by for a time to being able to grow skills and a long and beneficial career.

What follows is a bit of information about each team member, in his or her own words. These are REAL people with REAL lives!

Job: As the Director of Core Services at CTWorks of Hartford, Stephanie is charged with overseeing staff members at the Hartford, CT area One-Stop locations as well as the creation and implementation of policies company-wide.

In her time with CTL Stephanie has held many roles from assistant to instructor to recruiter to advisor to director to contributing editor. She has been instrumental in a large number of projects from policy to procurement of funds to gathering to making use of the information about CTL clients.

Stephanie also helps provide Human Resources and Operational Support for some the company’s other project areas including operations in Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Delaware.

Title: Director of Operations / Hartford, CT Core Services Director

Name: Angela Johnston

Title: Program Director – Washington, DC

Job: Angela started with CTL as a motivational speaker/trainer, providing the necessary tools to empower clients to take control of their lives by returning to the workforce with a new outlook on giving back to society by becoming great role models for their children.

Angela has recently become the Program Director. She continues to provide life skills training to each client, but has since merged into the leadership role in the DC office. Using her management and leadership skills, she has provided a new direction for the success of the program. In her multi-roles Angela also acts in the case management position to effectively assist each client with the support that he/she needs to overcome barriers that may prevent him/her from going to work.

Believing strongly that healthy parents make healthy children, Angela strives to assist the parents of our future to do the very best that they can to build a better tomorrow for everyone.

Name: Dana Fenwick

Title: Program Director – Wilmington, DE

Job: Dana, who originally started with Career T.E.A.M. as an Empowerment Coach, now rmanages a dedicated Delaware team that shares her passion for seeing clients gain self sufficiency. A firm believer of self improvement, Dana supports the growth of her staff in both their personal and professional lives. Dana's passion for training often leades her back into the classroom to offer motivation to the students.

Before joining Career T.E.A.M. Dana worked with a nationally known Workforce Development provider doing both Case Management and Workshop Facilitation. Other recent history includes working with Coca-Cola in Sales and Marketing.

Dana leads by example and is always willing to go the extra mile for the clients that her team serves.

Name: Mike Fazio

Title: National Sales Manager / Career TEAM Consulting

Job: Mike enthusiastically joins Career T.E.A.M., on a mission to enhance Sales and Marketing and with a goal of Certifying Corporate, Government and Educational Leaders throughout the world. He has a definitive belief that Training, Coaching and Leadership Development provide individuals and organizations with the tools needed to reach higher levels of performance. 

With a 20 year career focused on Sales Management, Marketing, Training and Recruiting, he is excited to bring his many historically successful strategies to Career T.E.A.M.. Mike began his sales experience in the fast growing telecommunications industry where he held many leadership positions for Start-Ups and Fortune 500 companies. He has also proud to have successfully hired, mentored and coached many top performers to various Senior Management Levels. Along the way, he also helped launch and run two private ventures; an exclusive staffing company, as well as, a private mortgage firm, which provided personal financing and credit counseling to home owners and buyers alike.
