One-Stop Services are resources provided to job seekers that include self-service resource libraries, self-paced job search activities,computer access, internet capabilities, fax, phone, copier, resume assistance, bonded paper/envelopes, mailing services, and job postings. These help facilitate a proper job search for those people who would not otherwise have access to basic needs. Career TEAM is part of the Capital Workforce Partners, which includes the Department of Labor, Community Renewal Team, Catholic Charities, Connecticut Business and Industry Association, Southend Community Services, and Capitol Region Education Council as well as countless individuals. All have come together in the Greater Hartford Region to create a One-Stop environment that serves customers in Bristol, East Hartford, Enfield, Hartford, Manchester, and New Britain. This is a very important feature to maintaining the job search momentum that will ultimately lead to job procurement. |
