Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, January 2007: Christopher Kuselias, CEO of Career T.E.A.M. announced that the Philadelphia Workforce Development Corporation (PWDC) has reached an agreement to train over 100 employer outreach personnel in Philadelphia.
Under the terms of this agreement, all Service Provider personnel in the Philadelphia area who are responsible for job placement services, attended a two-day empowering sales training course. The course is designed to improve a documented increase in city wide placement and job retention performance. Topics included employer outreach strategies, time management, overcoming employer objections, working with difficult clients and techniques for uncovering more job openings. Attendees also learned strategies for preparing their staff and students for the 21st century workplace.
Mr. Kuselias commented, "I applaud the PWDC. They are taking advantage of a cost effective and beneficial organizational assessment, staff development and student preparation program. It is clear that PWDC cares deeply about the success of its residents and the effective utilization of state and federal funding. We look forward to assisting them in the attainment of their objectives."
