Career T.E.A.M. Announces A New Alliance with InCharge For Client Debt Management

Hartford, CT, April 25, 2005 - Career T.E.A.M., iannounces a new alliance with InCharge (InCharge.org), a nationally recognized leader in consumer debt management based in Orlando FL.
Career T.E.A.M and InCharge have come together to design and pilot a first-ever workshop program that helps unemployed persons identify if they have debt problems and then provides them with a free debt counseling service, if determined via individual assessment.
The pilot is funded by the Capital Workforce partners (RWDB)and will initiate in the Hartford, Connecticut One Stop Center. Career T.E.A.M. uses it's highly successful motivational and life style training to bring classes to the unemployed, starting in May 2005. Participants who require assistance beyond the class will be assigned to a certified and dedicated In Charge counselor at no fee. Clients will initially attend a two hour seminar where they can learn about their debt and options that may exist to consolidate and possibly lower that debt.
Career T.E.A.M. CEO, Christopher Kuselias, identifies a major problem of the unemployed: "Providing solutions to a client's debt anxiety will immediately increase placement and retention. Government agencies need to become aware that a client that is free from the immediate worries of debt is more likely to get a good paying job and ultimately erase their debt. The combination of our awareness workshop and dedicated InCharge counselor is the ideal solution"
According to InCharge Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Mitch Ronco: "This is very exciting for us to be working with such a proven workforce consultant group like Career T.E.A.M., who understands the state and federal process. This collaboration allows use to be in direct contact with a new group of clients that can benefit from our educational materials and counselor services."
Pending the results of the Hartford, CT pilot, both organizations expressed a desire to duplicate on a nationwide basis.
