Hartford, Connecticut, April, 2003- Career T.E.A.M., a Connecticut based employment and training organization is proud to announce that it has collaborated with Fleet Bank to employ Hartford Youth as part of the YO! Hartford , CT , Youth Opportunity (YO!) grant. To date, 10 youth have already been hired with several more hires expected! Starting salary ranges are $9.50 plus with additional compensation pending performance.

Career T.E.A.M. currently manages the job readiness and placement component of the Youth Opportunity Grant (YO!) in Hartford . Under the direction of Career T.E.A.M. Employment Specialist, Katherine Jones, Fleet Bank representatives were recently invited into the classroom to present their job opportunities to several youth students, who were completing Career T.E.A.M’s Computer Assisted Customer Service course. After observing the enthusiasm and professionalism of the training program, 10 initial offers were extended and the partnership to work together was established.

According to Career T.E.A.M. C.E.O., Christopher J. Kuselias, “this most recent partnership is further testimony to the diligent efforts and innovation of all Career T.E.A.M. staff members. This is precisely why the Capital Region Workforce Development Board (under the direction of Tom Phillips and Alex Johnson) contracted with us. It is a clear example that Career T.E.A.M. continues to be a leader in uncovering career opportunities and the premier company to provide Hartford youth with solid job opportunities.”
