Wilmington, Delaware, December 2006: Career T.E.A.M. announces that it has been selected by the Delaware Department of Labor (Division of Employment & Training) to manage its Employment Connections Adult Services contract. The initial one year grant is in the amount of $1.25 million with a three year, $4.5 million extension based upon successful attainment of objectives.

According to CTL., C.E.O., Christopher J. Kuselias, "this most recent expansion into Delaware further supports our organizational objective to align our nationally recognized self-sufficiency model with state and federal workforce development funding sources on the East Coast."

The new Delaware based CTL staff will focus on coaching TANF customers with an emphasis on long-term economic self-sufficiency. CTL VP Bill Gerlach, commented: "Our combined knowledge, expertise and application of technology will result in a holistic approach to welfare-to-work, previously unseen in Delaware."

As a result, the company is in the process of developing a local network of resources to deliver an integrated system of training and placement services. CTL will work closely with local based entities to provide Delaware with optimal usage of state and federal funding.
