January, 2008 Career T.E.A.M. announces CEO Christopher Kuselias to spoke at the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) Forum 2008 conference in Washington D.C. in February at the Renaissance Hotel on “Program Planning and Design, 21st Century Innovations.”. Mr. Kuselias spoke on Improving Job Development for TANF Clients. This session demonstrated how to improve job development efforts through the use of sales techniques and how being able to "sell" and build trust is quintessential if you’re charged with building a thriving client base.

Discussion revolved around how to design programs and training to produce a documented increase in placement and job retention performance. Taken home were the latest, proven, techniques in planning and designing programs to address the immediate and future needs of your region. Also discussed was keeping a proactive eye towards performance management and use that information to strategically design programs. As well as, improve collaborations with partners and make the most of their strengths. And finally, identify and develop resources to quality build your systems.
