Career T.E.A.M. Awarded 5 Year TANF Grant By Washington DC Department of Social Services.

Washington, DC, October 1, 2005 - Career T.E.A.M., a national leader in the employment and training industry, announced that it had received a 5 year contract to provide training, placement and retention services for DC TANF residents.

According to Career T.E.A.M. CEO, Christopher J. Kuselias, "We are honored and delighted to have the opportunity to introduce our proven TANF strategies to the residents of DC. It is our expectation that we will soon become the leading provider of job placement and retention services in our nations capital."

Career T.E.A.M. will begin providing services in December of 2005 with a new 5,000 square foot facility and up to 16 full time staff members. As is the case with all Career T.E.A.M. sites, the new office will have dedicated staff including recruiters, instructors, job developers and case management. Career T.E.A.M., Transition Team member Bill Gerlach added, "the addition of this DC office further supports our corporate objective to align our nationally recognized welfare to work self-sufficiency model with communities in need of improved employer outreach."
