Hamden, CT, February, 2006 - Career T.E.A.M., a nationally recognized workforce development company is pleased to announce that it is celebrating its 10th year anniversary. Mission. Founded in 1996 by Christopher and Susan Kuselias, the mission of Career T.E.A.M. is to promote the concept of educated balance (health, career, financial, relationships, spirituality) in the quest to assist individuals and organizations improve performance. Career T.E.A.M. is a privately owned company, which derives revenues from:

  1. Procurement of state and federal Government funds to administer workforce related projects
  2. Consulting to other profit and non-profit government funded, workforce development contractors
  3. The creation, production and distribution of life enhancing radio and television programming and self-improvement products and services

For Individuals: CTL offers personal coaching and a comprehensive assessment of interests; skills and values in an effort to assist our individual clients attain their true “career calling”. For Government Agencies: CTL offers solutions to assist government maximize resources in the challenge of training, employing and retaining individuals in the 21st century workplace. In addition to project management, CTL provides consultative solutions and staff training options ranging from cultural assessment, outreach & admissions, curriculum design & facilitation, placement and retention and case management. Since 1996, CTL has:

  • Assisted more than 1,000 U.S. companies develop effective Welfare to Work programs and gain access to thousands of dollars in public incentives (Work Opportunity Tax Credits, On The Job Training Funds and Customized Training Awards). CTL has implemented award winning performance-based training resulting in successful employment for over 5,000 former welfare recipients.
  • Managed One Stop, Core, Intensive and Business Services Units (Placement & Employment Upgrade Units) and Case Management functions under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and begun managing projects within Job Corps.
  • Received an increasing number of consulting contracts. Examples include: design and implementation of a job readiness solution to serve 16,000 Louisiana welfare recipients (DOL), conduct staff training for all Washington DC TANF contractors on employer outreach (DHS), coordination of cultural assessment and individualized career management solution to serve up to 24,000 staff and 65,000 students for new Job Corps Career Success Skills standards.


For Corporations: CTL offers a variety of customized training solutions including Needs Analysis Consulting, Customized Program Development (multiple workshops/webcast topics available), Customized Role Play Development, and Customized Case Study Development. 1997: Named by Washington DC based, National Welfare-to-Work Partnership and National Alliance of Business’ Blueprint for Business directory as one of the top 10 training intermediaries in the country

1998: Received personal letter of commendation from President Clinton for outstanding performance in workforce transition; participated in highly prestigious White House forum on welfare to work solutions

1999: Named one of only 160 recipients of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Enterprise Award for innovation in workforce development

2000: Introduced Youth Success Series curriculum, which resulted in first federally funded Jobs Corps contract (Western NY Outreach & Admissions) and Youth Opportunity (YO!) contracts

2001: Introduced Corporate Training Series and named by INC Magazine as one of America’s 500 fastest growing, privately held corporations

2002: Introduced Personal Development Series delivered to the general public through seminars and personal growth materials

2003: Introduced Government Agency Series to build capacity and increase performance of workforce development government contractors including Job Corps

2005: Opened corporate office in Washington DC to serve national contracts and introduced partnership with The Pacific Institute of Seattle, Washington.

2006: Introduced Career Edge radio program distributed through syndication and opened Baltimore, Maryland office.
