New Haven, CT, March, 2003 - Career T.E.A.M., a nationally recognized workforce development company is proud to announce it recently celebrated the 80th placement as the funded operator for the Connecticut Works One Stop Center in New Haven. Funded by the Regional Workforce Development Board of Greater New Haven, and under the guidance and supervision of Kymbel Branch and Marita Shurkus, Career T.E.A.M. has coordinated a highly motivated team of career consultants with significant staffing experience who work in conjunction with other local entities including the Department of Labor.

Four of these eighty plus success stories include:

Candidate 1, was placed by Career T.E.A.M. specialist, Ray Carrano with IBM in Southbury at a starting salary of $34,000.00. Omar will begin with IBM as an entry-level electronic engineer.

Candidate 2, with assistance from Career T.E.A.M. computer lab specialist, Dominic Piscopo, was hired as a Senior Design Engineer for Design Learned earning $54,000.00 annually.

Candidate 3, after working with Career T.E.A.M. specialist, Ray Carrano, was hired by B&F Design of Newington as a tool designer earning $44,000.00 per year.

Candidate 4, a young woman with limited work history just starting her career, was placed by Career T.E.A.M. specialist, Nadine Naughton as a Job Corps Dental Assistant earning $10.00 per hour.
