Susan C, Kuselias is the President and co-founder of Career TEAM, LLC. Along with husband Chris, she has been instrumental in all aspects of launching the organization from a two person start up in 1996 to the complex, multi-state entity it is today. Susan has pioneered many company initiatives, policies and procedures which are still utilized today. She took the lead in a multi partnered project which was showcased as one of the most successful community initiatives and used as a case study throughout National Workforce Development conferences. She was named the Extraordinary Woman of the Year by both the Governor of Connecticut as well as by Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro. She was invited to the White House by Bill Clinton and participated in welfare to work think tanks with a myriad of the country's largest employers. After a 10 year hiatus, she recently returned to CTL from the most important role she has ever held; that of raising and nurturing her families three children, who have now reached full time elementary school age.
Back in action at Career TEAM, her primary passion involves implementing the "WOW" culture and service that Career TEAM is quickly becoming nationally known for in workforce development. Susan is an expert in brand enhancement (assisting organizations with the creation of a positive culture) and has studied award winning brands like Ritz Carlton, Zappos.com and Disney to unlock the clues to their amazing success. In her current role, Susan constantly monitors the comprehensive needs of a rapidly growing CTL and in response has created The Office of PERKS (Professional Development, Excellence, Recognition, Kulture and Service). PERKS is a revolutionary approach to culture enhancement which is paying huge dividends and which may become a blueprint for other organizations to follow.
Among her innovations are a new company wide blog which includes inspiring team building contests, associate recognition programs and increased communication among Career TEAM rapidly expanding staff of CareerTEAMers. Our clients now are referred to and treated as VIP's (very important participants), offices are vibrant in the colors of the brand, educationally stimulating sub groups like energizing books clubs have been created, webinars are being created to build CareerTEAMer knowledge and philanthropic committees (Career TEAM Haiti relief fund) are sprouting throughout the company.
Susan lives in Connecticut with her husband Chris and three children Alana, CJ and Olivia.
